Train info
If you are landing at Leonardo Da Vinci Airport at Fiumicino there is a train every 30 minutes to Termini Station which takes 32 minutes for the journey. It runs approximately between 7 a.m. and 10.00p.m.

Advance reservation is obligatory and free on ES (Eurostar) trains on Fridays, Sundays and other peak holiday times during the year. It is a good idea at any time if you do not wish to stand all the way.
A letter R in a box in the timetable will tell you the train needs reservations.
Bottom line: expect to arrive in Venice at earliest 7 pm, more likely 8

I checked on getting us to La Spezia and catching an earlier train, but 17:03 is the day train out of Monterosso to La Spezia!
